Re: what exhaust is this??
stainless steel twinstack made by Quill.
i was going to buy one but upon calling Quill they kept mensioning that there was no guarentee with it, and when i asked 'if it doesnt fit well can i bring it back' the chap quickly changed the subject.
I've since ordered a Tyga system...

Re: what exhaust is this??
I live round the corner from JB racing (quill exhaust) and ive had a couple of issues in the past with them, they are complete tools, but when i asked about this system for my vfr nc30 race bike, they offered it me for £400 cash, and even offered to throw in a dyno run...mmmmm but then i remembered why i dont go there anymore and decided against it..
He told me he had a dyno print out from this twinstack but he conveniently couldnt find it, it also sits quite low mainly for road bikes so not to interfere with the indicators, but im sure with a little fettling with a TIG welder it could look a whole lot better!!! and it is almost half the cost of a tyga..... your call..

Re: what exhaust is this??
i just gave them a call and got basically the same thing...
they SHOULD fit-
sold as is, and ill quote "if they dont fit, tough shit"
basically he was talking about the value for money, getting a full system with cans for £400 when two cans alone would cost nearly that much.
one thing that really truobled me though: i asked him about the fit and he said: "remember, this is a race system so its not exactly the same as the original, which means it doesnt follow the exact same routing...
troubling....
although my local garage are sure they could fettle it to make it fit...
theyre tempting.. allthough they do look a little low...

Re: what exhaust is this??
They are very temting, and i recon £80 spent on a little tig work they would look good!!
But i im sure if gavin reads this he will tell you the score with JB racing and trust issues!!
All they did was slate the "company that owes us £5K-arsehole" let us down, but its each to there own and at that price and if you need one then its a no brainer!! I just decided to keep my current race exhuast and spend the money on sorting out the carbs and air...
