I putt around town at 5 or 6 grand, but on the freeway it's more like 7 or 8, with the gearing I've got. If I'm behaving myself in public, I get about 40 MPG, so 120 miles on a tank is pretty realistic. It will gladly putt around town all day regardless of revs - one of the things I discovered on the dyno is that the torque curve is almost flat clear across the powerband. As far as YOU lasting all day, work on your body posture, use your legs to move yourself around on the bike, and your core to hold yourself up. Think of it as a pilates class, only cooler. Also, for long-range travel, I occasionally tuck in super tight, with my ribcage resting on the tank, and my hands just resting on the bars.
