NC30 Dog bone Mod, Urgent!!!!!

Urgently need, tried doing a search but not much found

how far down the original dog bone should I drill the new hole?

need to do this today as Il hopefully be at oulton tomorrow and dont want to be decking the fairing out again

mate, seeing as it is my fault due to lack of postage skills... I'll post these pics for you.

Cammo knows the answer>> My recall is that it is 8mm? You end up with a slot rather than 2 seperate holes.

Who me?!

8mm is correct.

You do end up with a slot. Best to weld up the old hole and drill a new as they do overlap a smidge.

no time to weld, is it ok to run with this slot? or will the triangle thing move about in the slot

If you imagine drilling 8mm from the centre of the original hole you'll get a hole with one edge missing (form the other hole)

It "may" be fine, as I am sure that only a few people have welded it up. If you want, you could go for a 10mm hole for even more ride height..and avoid drilling into the other hole.

I have no pics to hand..I'll see if I can find one.

no time, Iv adjusted the chain so its giving max ride height but not drilled dog bone

Spike, try and get it done for next time out.

It changes the handling for the better and also the shock if you have a standard one. In standard form nc30's drag their arse way to low to the ground for decent tip in on the track.
