RVF Brake upgrade...

Post by manser34 »

Hi , Im a newbie to this site but after a bit of info really, i have a RVF NC35 road and track bike and recently bought some CBR 600RR 03 front brake calipers to upgrade the brakes on my track bike... Can anyone give me any info on master cylinders that will fit straight on? Ive heard the Ducati 916 brembo would do but im not sure?

Please help! i am a chick after all :tits:

I believe the early fireblade's mc can be interchanged and is identical other than having a larger bore..Contact rickO on this site think he said he had oneortwo.. Possibly also an nsr mc will fit.. The rvf is looking in good condition! :tits: nice

How much do you want to spend? :D

Do you not have the CBR600 mastercylinder? It works pretty well (several people on here use it!)

I don't think the brembo m/c will suit very well as they're more commonly found in different bore sizes.

Whatever you get, stick with the standard bore size (it's cast into the master cylinder) if you don't want any issues.
