a shifter on a nc30?
hello
does anyone knows if it's possible?
I have some troubles with my left wrist, a bit weak, and yesterday, I had a morning (4*30mn) track session, and after the first 30mn, it was so painful I could not use the clutch anymore for the last 3 session .
The honda gearbox beeing just perfect, it went with no trouble at all, but just in case, i'd like to know if someone ever fitted a shifter on this bike?
thanks

A quickshifter can be fitted to any bike to be honest m8, and i think there fairly affordable as well.

Just don't use the clutch Tom!
You really only need it for the first-second change.

Re: a shifter on a nc30?
very true you dont need to use the clutch....but remember to back off the revs for a split second before changing up!!!
This is basically what a quickshifter does, (please correct me if im wrong) i believe they cut the ignition for a split second, just long enough for the stress on the gears to alleviate, thus allowing the next ratio to be engaged smoothly without the clutch, but my understanding is standard quickshifters only work on the upshift?? im not 100% sure on this so i may be wrong!
There are some kits on the market that are button operated and can change up and down the box, and are designed for people with mobility problems allthough these are fairly expensive.
