Throttle cable run on NC35

Whats the standard run of the throttle cables on a NC35? mine run below the yoke but i feel there getting in the way of the air flow to the tray, ive tried running them above the yoke but the throttle tends to stick when going from lock to lock. Has anyone managed to run the cables above the yoke without problems? Doubt it'll make the slightess difference to the airflow but it'll make me happy

Over the bottom yoke and under the clocks frame. Mine's always been like that with no issues at all!

Someone else asked a similar question quite some time ago, so I got the photo below sorted for him; it may help you further too.
