nc30 instrument bulbs
Only one of my bulbs on the instrument panel is working, does anybody happen to know what bulbs are used so I can order some replacements?

Its definatly the lamps as I'm getting voltage readings from the holders themselves, have tried halfords was told they don't sell them, and yes the temp guage does have one. Also have used the search but couldnt find anything useful.

Hi,
Try a bike shop rather than Halford. Or, you can get them from Rick Oliver or Graeme France who are both members on this site.
Getting them from Rick or Graeme means you know they will fit.

Re: nc30 instrument bulbs
Hi there,
I have just refurbed my clocks and put a new cover on the speedo. the bulbs a the tiny 1.2w capless bulbs that are found in the dash waring lights and the time clocks in older cars.
Halfords sell them for 95p and most motor factors are half of that.
They just push in to the holder ( light grey rubber 'bung', 2 in the speedo, 2 in the tacho, 1 in the temp gauge and 4 individual ones in the idiot lights.) The 'bungs just push in to the back of the holes, but I found a smear of washing up liquid helps them in.
They are a right arse to do if the clocks are in situ, mine were out so it took 10 mins
Hope this helps
Cheers, Neil

Re: nc30 instrument bulbs
Were the ones you refitted slightly smaller than the originals by any chance as I have come across hundreds of these?
Cheers.
