im gonna have to get my ass in gear and get on the track, just dont want to do it on my nc29, so might go down the same route and get a day time mot/van, how does everyone else get their bikes to and from the track, and if you ride to it and crash how do u get it back? so many questions haha

Or find a mate that races and has a van he drives and you supply food and beverages for the day

Did the track day last saturday and have been waiting for my mate to email me some pics, but hes been busy at work so i thought id post up how things went and add pics later.
Rode up to Donington on my road bike as my mate had my track bike on his van. Was nice in Nottingham but the closer i got to the track, the greyer the sky got. You could see rain in the near distance, so i expected to be seeing it soon at the track. After the briefing session and a bacon buttie checked evrything i could yet again. Watched the novices go out, then it was my groups turn in the inters. As you can imagine i was a tad nervous, expecting the thing to go pop or fall apart mid sighting laps. My mate stayed behind me just to keep an eye on things. Was a bit worrying as i could smell a bit of burning oil and some smoke was coming out of the exhaust, but made the first 20min session! Checked it over again and out for the second session, now more confidently and slowly getting faster. Also the smell of burning and the smoke went away. Pretty much how the day continued and the rain stayed away too, Bonus!
Didnt really play with any off the settings as the bike seemed to be handling just fine. The only thing i noticed was it was slow tipping in at slower speeds, maybe due to the 70 profile front tyre, fine at high speed though.
Came away more than happy with the bike and how this project has gone.

Nice one. Always a relief to get the first one out of the way after rebuilding a bike!

Why are bacon sandwiches the food of choice on race and track days? Anyone know?

Ok ive got one more TD at Mallory on the 26th of this month, then i think that will be it for the year. So it will be a full strip down, service etc. Then the fitting of a few tasty upgrades ive been collecting during the past few months. Almost makes winter something to look forward too! Well nearly.........

I would say remote reservoir pipe it too short for NC29. I had similar problem with FOX racing shock.
