Gasoline in the engine and engine oil NC 24

Post by XL-Twin »

Hello ,

i have a Problem wirh my NC24. Ich just made the final ckeck to pass the German TÜV.
When I wanted to check the oil level fuel blubbled out of my engine.
I think someone modded the carburators cause it was a trackbike in the past !
What could be wrong and how could i fix this.

There more the 2 literes fuel in my engine after 3 weeks standing.

The float needles in your carbs are not sealing and it is allowin the fuel to wash into the bores and into the engine.

You need to fix this asap and to change all the oil..

I already changed the oil .
I also turned the fuel cock off to stop the fuel.
I think the fuel cock is changed to get more fuel in higher rev's it never closes without the vacuum

Its most likely your float valves. If a HRC like mod has been done then its likely its overpowering and leaking past them. I had 1/2 a tank of petrol in my engine one time. Im a lucky LUCKY boy that I caught it in time.

Either
Turn your fuel tap off as a natural reflex
Fix your vacuum tap with a rebuild kit
Clean up and or replace float valves
Fit a fuel pump from a carbed bike

Take your pick
