Re: could this be electrical or is it fueling??????????
cheers for yet anouther reply, i have replace the vac pipe so supply from the tank is all good.have got more info on the prob, the stutter is miles better but only appears when the bikes temp is between 1/4 and half, hence only felt it on way home last night and today but not there in the mornings when bike runs cooler as air temp is cooler???Neosophist wrote:It may be the jets being too small to supply enough fuel at high rpm, either that or your fuel supply isn't fast enough, which is usually vaccum pipe problems / fuel tap problems / float height
gta be fueling but what do i adjust????
i have been using this http://www.factorypro.com/tech_tuning_p ... gines.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; which you recommended.
which states "If the bike pulls harder at high rpm when cold and less hard when fully warmed up, the main jet is too large. Install a smaller main jet and retest until you find the main jet that pulls the hardest at high rpm when fully warmed up"
but this is for a single carb set up and i dont think it applies to mine correctly, on mine the lean front cylinders could be restricting the rears potential and therefore causing them to over fuel.so therfore when the 115 are in the front it should work itself out. does this sound right?
cheers dave

It sounds feasible.
See how you get on with 115's all around, I wouldn't replace / change anything else till then.
