Rear brake lever adjustment?

Post by Bruno » Mon Jun 15, 2009 11:01 am

Hi All,(recently bought a 400 super four,) would any one know if it's possible to adjust the rear brake lever down abit for ease of use as I have l quite long legs and find it difficult, also is it possible to adjust the gear lever abit too for exactly the same reason?.
Thanks....Bruno... ;)

The gear lever does adjust up or down quite easily. Just release the pinch bolt holding the lever onto the shaft coming out of the gearbox. Remove the lever and move it down a few teeth at a time. You will need to adjust the lever arm as well to suit the new setting. Dont think the brake lever moves though.
