What's the method for jacking up the rear of an NC29?

Done that. Fitted a CBR600F2 shock, as per the advice on here and it's the same length at the stock shock right?

It's needs 20mm-50mm more height I'd say.

are you sure you got the right shock the standard shock is 290mm eye to eye the 600 shock is 310mm eye to eye and it lifts the rear more than 20 mm

check the eye to eye measurment, the shock might be goosed and measures ok but drops low with the weight of the bike, mine came off an 02 bike and was in really good condition

I've just had it serviced at a cost of £100!

So is there no other way of adjusting the ride height other than buying a pukka race shock with that adjustment built in?

All the linkage is stock NC29.

All I have changed is the shock itself.

only way i can think is if you can get a shorter dog leg which will raise the arse end up
