new here!!!
Hi i'm loking at getting an RVF400 very soon, will have the cash to spend once i've sold my Benelli Tornado.
Anyway what should I look out for on a used one? I presume the reg/recs are still pretty shoddy (went through a couple on my CB-1)?

Re: new here!!!
It's the 900RS i've got so it's got about 140bhp, Brembo gold radial brakes and OZ racing wheels. Blisteringly quick!!!! Not particularly comfy either but a definite head turner.
I'm still in 2 minds to actually sell it,
Pros are: it's a rare-ish bike as there are only about 400 of the RS model in the world, it's absolutely gorgeous to look at, goes like the clappers, always attracts a crowd when you park up and it's value should just go up and up from now on.
Cons are: It's expensive to insure (group 17 of 17), parts can be a nightmare to find and then their expensive, it's a bit juicy, not comfortable, some reliability issues (blown engines, clutch baskets coming off), issues with the finish (flaking paint), servicing is expensive
