NC29 Blue Or Purple?

Hi, just wondering about the colour scheme of my bike as Im looking for touch up paint for the fairings.

Now then in theory my bike is White/Blue. although Im not to sure?

These are the codes I got from the vforge site..

nh 193p Pearl crystal white

pb22b Dionysus blue

Now when I take a picture of it, the Blue is well.. Blue, but if I stand next to it and look at it its Purple for definite, I dont think the bike has been repainted.

I dont want to order using the wrong codes so was wondering are there any of you out there with the same colour bike and can you confirm the colour and if it looks purple to you?

edit, maybe its an inky blue/purple?

The paint supplier can match the pearl white no problem but cant match the blue/purple using the codes above. any ideas?

sorry to dig up an old post, im in the middle of doing up my nc29 after it has been sat for 2 years following an off then i decided to do it up and lost interest. i got my fairing sprayed ross white (NH-196) i need to get the tank and front and maybe rear gaurd sprayed now, i need the purple colour code for this but can't find it anywhere.
if anyone can help that would be great.

Sorry, I never did find that Purple code, Im unsure if its original but I have seen it on another NC29 (code 7), noticed it in Grey Bike mag in one of the import adverts, where it looks identical in shade and colour as mine. The only other bike I have seen it on was a CBR900 with the same design. Photos can be deceptive though as on my monitor all CBRs including mine (code 5) do look blue (could be my monitor, camera etc..) and only when I look at the actual bike does it look a very deep purple.

Coincidently my bike has been the same colour since it was imported, according to the docs, HPI etc.

If you find it, please post the code.

i did have both codes at one point which i got off the old forum but can't get on it now so not sure what do to, if i can remember rightly it was on a picture like the one above, im sure some one must have it, fingers crossed.

Ive got bike number 5 and under the seat it states that the colour code is NH193P and NH193H and is the original colour.
I havent tried going to a paint shop and getting it matched up but hope that helps if indeed it does help

Thanks for the codes, I suppose the important bit is if your bike is Blue or Purple?

i know mines purple and still cant find it anywhere even been through my haynes manual with no luck. maybe a honda dealer might be able to find out not sure if they'll will be willing to give their time up for nothing in return tho.
