clutch conversion
hi guys/gals,
has anyone put a hydrolic clutch onto their 30/35? if so, is it much lighter than the cable?
the reason i ask is my left wrist is aching after two 10 lap races yesterday.
my bike dosent like going down two gears at a time (i end up in neutral) so i have to go through them and this gives me leon haslems electirc knees and also electric clutch hand

Re: clutch conversion
Hydraulic is heavier physically than the cable would be.
Have you got extra clutch springs? You could try to master clutchless gown down the box. I had to try it for a TD sessoion once as my clutchlever was loose.. by the end of it I was getting pretty close to catching some gears at the right time and revs..

Re: clutch conversion
I reckon you'll have no worries sorting it out..
You want to be shifting up clutchless though...I would be knackered too using the clutch for up and downshifts..

Strain Gauge shifter?
The hydraulic clutch is slightly 'easier' to pull in than a cable i find. I have one on my 24. It's a bit more work to fit one to the 30 / 35 due to the speedo drive being in the way but I looked and it shouldn't be too hard at all.
