Any idea what this is?
Whilst going through my boxes of bits I found this
I removed it from a bike I sold a while ago - I presume its one of the M-max derestrictors with the box removed?
thing is I can't for the life of me work out where it goes!!
It has a small 3 plug socket and one of the wires on the circuit board is labelled IGN (ignition?)

it's an imobiliser chip for the starship enterprise

It looks like the speed restrictor in the speedo, thats what my moneys on anyway

Its the speedo portion of the 180km/h restrictor.

Correct, usually found wrapped in bodge tape and tucked away behind the Speedo, for an easy de-restriction solution.NC35 wrote:Its the speedo portion of the 180km/h restrictor.
