Re: front tyre
hey cb399,
I think those bridgestones were the tyres that came on the bike originally, but i'm guessing they're long out of production. The tyres that most folks tend to go for with the Super4 is either the BT45 if you're looking to get more mileage, or else the BT090 if you're wanting a really sticky tyre and don't look to be doing commuting or the likes.
There's other brands of course, but if you've got a Bridgestone on the Back then the BT45 up front will be your best option. Got a set on my own Super4 and they're great.
Hope that's of some help.

Re: front tyre
Superseded by the bt45, kind of. They were a more sporty compound, but still bias ply. Do not mix bias ply and radial tyres front to rear as it's not only stupid but also an MoT fail.
They are way old, I would consider doing the pair, as the rear you have must be old enough to be beginning to perish, unless it was new-old stock.

What rear do you have on there, and what's its condition?
