I've been looking for these too.
I did find strong carbon covers from "tayprotec" which claimed to protect the casings in the event of a crash but the site has gone down.
The Carbon covers looked pretty decent but were expensive.

There are a few sources for carbon engine covers in Oz (need them to race here).

The one guys here do different fairing part from carbon (no sure about kevlar) The price was about 100-120$ for left\right covers.
