Rear end handling

Hi, I need some advice for my rear end setup, recently i've not been happy with the feeling of the rear end. It currently has a bt092 tyre with plenty of thread and the stock shock which hasnt been touched for over 15 months.

So the options ive considered are eirther a, replace tyre with a bt090 b, revalve shock or c, replace the shock.

A and B are going to cost about £100 each but C it varys oviously

Probably the best bang for buck option is get the std shock refurbed, fit bt090's and raise the rear ride height by redrilling the radius arm.

Raising the rear helps nc's enormously, they drag their arses much too low in standard form for sharp handling.

Obviously an aftermarket shock (with adjustable ride height or just plain longer to raise the rear) would be a much better option, but pricey.


Edit: Just an afterthought but lots of peeps complain about poor feeling from bt092's, as the profile changes at the shoulders giving a feeling of uneasiness as you tip it over. 090's have a more round profile and will help with corenering confidence.
