Re: double sided swingarm ???
I am at this time fitting a nc30 swingarm to a 3tj frame, there is nothing straight forward about
this conversion, I have got to machine an amount off one side of the frame to get chain
alignment,I have got to remove the shock mounts and weld them back in an offset position
because that's how the nc30 shock is mounted, the benefits for me is,under seat exhaust, nice
stylish wheel,Now!To do the opposite i think would be more work, exhaust's.
As for rotating weight in my case the nc30 wheel is lighter than the yamaha wheel, infact the
Whole honda rear end is lighter than the yamaha.
hope this helps.

Re: double sided swingarm ???
wow people getting crazy on this subject.
I didn't even say i was going to attempt anything, i was just wondering if anyone, like spondon (makes ktm gp frames) or harris (wsbk swingarms) has made one for someone, im sure its possible. And yeah the shock and exhaust would have to be redone etc... Just a thought.
