CMSMJ1 wrote:The BT92 is a god tyre. I ahve done several tracdays on them and although it is not as good as the 090 for track riding it is perfectly good for the road.

Riding off the edge is willy waving blags IMO. Anyone can think they are ont he edge but til you are getting your sidestand down you are fine...and then you are close!

I'm not sure what that means!!!! When I say it went off the edge far too easily I don't mean the off-the-edge-peg-scraping-sidestand-scraping-elbow-down type scenario - I ahve never and probably never will ahve the ability to do that - I just mean the type of riding on a sunny sunday morning going round your local favourite roundabout. I'd say I could barely get 35 - 40 degrees without it going off and getting a bit wobbly.

As before I don;t know why this was the case as it was the correct size. My 90 that is now on is soo much better and confidence inspring.

It might be worth getting a 92 in a larger profile size (160 insted of 150 for example) so that it curls round the rim more.....

Get a 150 as it is the right size for the rim and won't alter the profile of the tyre. I would personally get a BT090 as it has a more rounded profile where as the BT92 is too flat.

Just noticed your from chessington?!! fancy a ride out soon?

Place in leatherhead is pretty good, if you take the wheels to them they will do each one for £15 its in the industrial estate after the bridge on the one way system..

I'm looking forward to some sticky tyres and getting some knee down action!

That's great w00dzy, thanks for that. (I have tried to get the rear wheel off, although it's a little 'stuck'!)
A ride out is good idea, the weather this weekend looks pants, but keep me in mind if you're out and about.
I'll PM my mobile...
