NC30 Exhaust Value?

Post by The Hamster »

Hi guys and girls, im just testing the waters here.
I have two completely original uncut NC30 Exhausts with my bikes and I would like to put an aftermarket exhaust on one of them, but Dont know how much an original exhaust would be worth? The best one is completely perfect, un dented and highly polished, looks almost better than standard and has only done 10k miles? So... any ideas? I have heard they are really rare in this condition and hard to come by?
What is it worth?

Thanks...

The Hamster.

For the record, I would only sell one of them if the right offer came in and my other completely standard exhaust will be wrapped in silk and stored in the attic for quite a few more years thas for sure. LOL

They are really onlyworth what someone is willing to pay, and in the current climate I'dsay you'd be ucky to see £50 for it. Stick it on e-Bay with what you think is a decent reserve and see how it gets on.

If the collars are good then it will be worth a few quid to someone restoring one of the biles..which is going to bewhat happens to some of them soon once the yoofs of today have had their way neglecting them and chopping the pipes up!! :poke:

Just found somewhere with the standard factory exhaust system on there price list (although I dont think they are still available). They retail at £720 + P&P for a complete system! Now If they are apparently getting very rare, surely they wouldnt be far off that value second hand now seeing as you cant get hold of them anymore?

And Obviously If I was to sell one of my systems it would come supplied with new gaskets and studs etc??

So how much do you think they might be worth now?

sorry i'd be hard pushed to spend £100 on a standard system, aftermarket ones can be had for not much more than that.

£720, hahaha you can buy a running bike for that.
