possible airbox
As you may be aware I am in search for a 400 airbox (rare as hens teeth here in Australia) I have located a 600 airbox which I understand from reading the 400/600 engine swap is larger. My question is in which way larger. (width, taller, both)?
Another question: I would like to start on repairing the fairing. I would like to use the right plastic cement for the job. Does anyone know the type of plastic the 3en2 fairing is make from?

Re: possible airbox
No idea on either of them .... but
The 3HE airbox from the FZR600 should be the same or at least sufficently similar to fit, but, the 4JH or FZR600R (Also known as the Foxeye because of the headlamps) DOESN'T FIT.
The best stuff to use is Plastex, it's a kit with powder plastic and a spirit and also comes with a chunk of heatable plastic to form a mould on any broken lugs. I put a thread in the Main General section showing how to use it. This is a better solution than plastic welding.
