Your 5.5k revs issue will go away..but the revving from idle..we can get to that!

Your idle screws set right?

What does it idle at and what does it actually do, or not do, when you say it has problems from idle?

hi
it idle's sub 1000rpm and you can hold full throttle and does not pick up at all now
one thing noticed was orange/blue was scotched locked to black/white with no resistor ,
its also fitted with m derestrictor and also speedo convertor(reduction gearbox) so some idiot have derestricted it 3 times
but all back to normal ie got rid of link wire (had tried resistor) and removed derestrictor box but left reduction gearbox on speedo
have 2 cdi one chinese one factory oe both do same (surely if cdi was goosed they wouldnt work at all ?)
could this issue be anything to do with pick up
all 4 cylinders get warm and all sparking healthy
even tried spraying carb cleaner into intake which had no affect apart from trying to stall it ,so i assume this counts out a fuel issue

 had enough really bike insured but cant ride and im itching too

Idle should be about 1300-1400 revs so get that screwed in and see how it goes . Sounds like it is bogging down?

What jets were in it when you sorted the carbs? Is the airbox standard and with the flap things at the front still there?

is your battery good?

You saying that if you blip the throttle is doesn't do much?

can you video it maybe? would make a lot more sense to see what it actually does?

battery good and charging ok when the revs get up a little
like said you can hold throttle wide open and will not rev over 1000rpm
can try and video
