 That is very low MPG indeed!
My Bandit4 from near empty takes between £14-£15 to fill up and I normally do at least 200 Kms before reserve (that's about 125 miles), it'll do another 30-40kms again to near empty; I've gone as far as 240 kms to reserve! I should add that I do a lot of town riding with a fair bit of 'A' roads & motorway work too; plus I have a race zorst also!
When the mind is relaxed, the body will go faster! 8-)

thats horendous, even on my 600 i usually get 150Miles at normal speeds. at maintained speed of over the tonne it goes down to just 115miles, so there must be a leak somewhere

i think i must have a leak :(
garage this morning stunk of petrol
but no sign on of a wet floor
when i got the bike i always had a lot of wet plats on my left foot but after i cleaned the carbs it stopped.
this week (when i get time) i will change the petrol pipes and put new clips on
see if this does anything

all sorted now had a leak from one of the middle carbs and from the petrol pipe
put new seal on the carb and cliped the pipes on
