CB400SF Project Big One 1994

Hi

My son has got one of these bikes, and 6th gear has just gone south. He needs another engine, as it would probably be more cost effective than repairing it. The engine number is prefixed NC23E. We have managed to locate another inline four engine on ebay, with the prefix NC24E.

Can't find anything on the web, so does anyone know if these engines are interchangeable, or maybe knows what bike the NC24E engine originates from?

Failing that, does anyone have a NC23E engine for sale?

It turns out I can safely rule out the NC24E engine. So, does anyone have a CB400sf engine for sale?

The NC23 bike is a CBR400 ri arm. Perhaps they share the motor? I do not know exactly.

Also there is a CBR400 Aero..with an NC23 engine I think..
