HRC header tank

Just a quick one, is this just a gloryfied coke bottle with a hole in the lid? can i make one with a washing up liquid bottle ect???

I cannot get my one piece seat unit over the existing header tank :( Is there a certain trick this??

please helllp im at brands tomorrow...

1- Yes!
2- In short, also yes; but I think you only put a bit of coolant/water in it, not fill half the bottle's capacity!? I think it needs a bit left in the bottle, in case the system needs to draw some back in!?
3- Had the same problem and got an NC24 unit to fit at the front; brut and yet gentle force seems to be the only way to overcome this problem!

you could probably get a identicle bottle from a hard ware store or something, then just drill 2 holes in the lid, my mate works in esso oil refinery and he said he could of easily got me a bottle identicle to the HRC botle (obviously with out the 2 holes in the lid)

Any bottle will do, there was a thread on here recently discussing the relative merits of various fruit shoot bottles and claiming extra bhp from certain flavours. I'll spare you the cheesy gags.

Oh and I'd run it pretty much dry too.
