Parafin all the way!CRM wrote:brush some diesel fuel in, and wash it off. diesel shifts just about most oily grime marks, and leaves its own film which is far easier to remove. or use parafin (parasine now its called in B&Q)
I soak a rag in it and wipe the wheels with it, and use a brush for the tough spots.
Be careful when using it around your chain unless you want to be re-lubing the chain

It looks like an AFAM brand sprocket to me, is it because you can't see the stamp?

Re: Dirty wheels
As far as I gathered it the step in the sprocket should point towards the wheel, not away from it. Looks identical to my Renthal sproket I've fitted atm.Stickshift wrote:How can you tell viper?viper_biker wrote:^^^ That sprocket is on back to front ^^^

Re: Dirty wheels

@VB: you are right it is a Renthal one, and was fitted by myself, but was put on exactly the same way as the previous one was put on by a reputable wheel in/ wheel out bike fitters in londonium
