NC30 tuning
i know the subject has been covered numerous times but want to turn things round a little, we all know what you can do, but £ for £ what is the best way to tune an nc30. IE if you get 1hp for £1000, not very efficient, but by putting hrc decals on you gain 100hp for £5, bargain.
looking for this as i have now sold the sv race bike and am going back to the 400, probably at aintree though not sure how often i will get there this year.
i will start things rolling:
1 - dyno time - if your not getting the best out of what youve got (standard or tuned - waste of money!)
next...

Get in touch with Gforce? I think there the guys that had the Cosworth pistons made, they've taken the NCxx pretty far with tuning i'm sure they'll know what you get for what :)

I know this isnt performance related but..... You cant go fast with crappy brakes and shocking suspension so this is my tip in the quest for better performance.

Re: NC30 tuning
Exhaust system, ram air & jetting to suit. Couple of other mod's that are worth doing at no cost is do the HRC fuel tap conversion and whip out those quietning gears on the camshafts. That's all I had done for the first year of racing and it made a big difference to the standard set up.

Re: NC30 tuning
Well many would tell you that NC35 carbs (more direct air intake path) are the way forward for making more power. The reason I say it like this is that I have not done it to mine yet but do plan to. So I know this by word of mouth.
