yes please, that would be real helpfull

i think it will need a cone washer too, can you confirm this?

I went down this route before and found that the maximum size you could possibly fit is the 5.25" wheel - I put a Ducati 748 rear wheel on but that had a 4.5mm spacer to off set against the chain and swing arm.
Then if it gets too wide the tyre would rub on the exhaust behind the right footpegs.
But if you find a way let me know :D

was the tyre a 160 and where you running an o/x-ring chain?

Hi Mo,

I was running a 160 tyre on the ducati rim.

I didn't fit any wider as I thought it would possibly rub on the exhaust.

I was also running an o-ring chain.

ahh ok.

i ran a 180 last year on the race bike and it only just fouled the chain so i fitted a non-o-ring chain and it was fine so i think a 160 on a trumpet wheel should be grand :)

was looking on flee-bay last night at front wheels

i saw a three spoke cbr600 f1 front wheel, good condition and good price.

what concerns me is the profile 17x2.50

2.5" wheel sureley thats far too thin

if you want a 3 spoke for your front then an NC23 is where it's at
