Re: buying an NC29
if you can go look at the bike first, it does look quite clean but photos can be decieving and being from a dealer you know they got it a lot cheaper than there selling it for which does spark the thought "whats wrong with it?"
Personally id steer clear of old bikes from dealers, most of the time their just passing them on to make a bit of cash, forums and owners clubs are where id be looking but then that does mean selling your bike privately.
Hope it works out

Re: buying an NC29
what springs to mind..
1: balding rear tyre
2: non std paint job..so it was crashed.
3: rusty looking headers - not shiny anyways!
4: poor pics of the lower left hand side...why?
5: £1200 - way too much IMO when an RVF sold for £1550 couple of weeks ago..
Basically..I would hold your horses, watch the site and others for a bargain and for a bike you can check some history on.
Have a look at ABRMOTO.co.uk - one of our members, he has bikes for sale about the same price and I would bet my fingers that they are in better condition than anything from a dealer..
get an NC30 anyways..as they rule

lol well ive put the cash down, just waiting to go and get it now. The handy thing is a i have a friend who is rather mechanically inclined as his his dad too so any problems can always be resolved im sure. he is an NC30 too!
well it does look tatty but they have assured me they will get it running great! if not i get my money back!
one thing it is missing though is the front light surround... anyone know some good places for NC29 spares...
