The need for a fuel filter??

Post by Drunkn Munky » Wed Mar 25, 2009 3:49 pm

Does the fuel tap on a NC have a filter built in? if not can someone recomend one small enough to go between the fuel outlet on the tank to the fuel inlet on the carbs

There is one in the tap and the NC30 has a little filter on each carb unit as well (not sure about the 35 as you can't remove the screw to look) You can get small filters (I've seen a few on classics) but its not needed as the one in the tap will do the job.
Ducati 916, not worth a carrott

thanks, i wont bother with an inline filter then, fuel tank is nc30 but i robbed the tap from a 35 tank, i'll cross reference the part numbers their probably the same.

carbs are NC35 too
