Ohlin installation.

Post by rallykay »

I just bought me an Ohlin shock, fully adjustable (hi/lo comp, rebound, lenghts and hydralic preload) for a very small amount of money. It will eventualy replace my RS250 shock. Thats the good part.
The bad part is that it come from a GSXR 1000, so it vill need revalving and som modifikation to fit.
For example it is 330 mm c-c. the spring is the right lenght i think by looking at it but it is a 9,5 kg and i have a 15,0 that is going there.

Since i can´t for my life find the old forum i need to ask about some measurments.

The lenghts (c-c) should be 310 mm, right?

What is the widht of the original dogbone (RVF)?

Thankful for your help.

From memory I think you'll be wanting 315mm.
