Advice needed please

Post by sonage32 »

heyy, me and my friends are going on a 2500mile trip around europe looking for some of the best roads around, like on top gear.

i have a NC30 and im guna be using it, obviously i need to make sure its in top condition for this trip to avoid breaking down so im doing alot of maintenance.

are there any bits you would recomend changing? the bikes done 16k miles, so far i have changed:

shims,
oil,
filter (flushed engine)
coolent (flushed cooling system)
chain
sprokets
tyres
refurbed caliper
new braded hoses
clutch cable
speedo cable

cheers again everyone@@!

Take your rads off and clean them up good and proper. sort out any bent fins and make sure the central part of your lower rad is clean as a whistle.

Take spare throttle and clutch cables..just in case, spare bulbs.

The main issue will be the heat so make sure that this is sorted.

Have fun...wish I was going away for a trip :poke:

you seem to have covered everything would maybe take a spare reg/rectifier with you just in case or get charging system checked before you go.
