Newbie NC29 owner needs advice!
Hi
Just bought my NC29 and need to give him a service etc.
Can you pls let me know what are the best/recommended:
1. Brake pads
2. Tyres
3. Place to get filters?
And any another replacement parts/mods which are highly recommended? Thanks!
Bike is in good condition, I just want to make sure he is as mint as possible!

mods wise theres not stuff you can do each to their own taste,
presonally all mines got is a
light tint double bubble screen, stainless end can, 112mph restrictor mod, racing rearsets, hagon front springs.
you can change the fairings, indicators, grips, bar ends, crash bobbins, screen, exhaust, mirrors.
the best mods are to set your suspension up properly. again greame france can sort you out with different front springs + a rear shock.

i would second this and say to use the seach request "cbr400" firstly, it comes up with the most listings and then i just check new listings as i check regularly, then filter down into specifics nc29 etc....leopard_pagan wrote:the sale/wanted section + ebay are also very good sources of parts/bits.
mods as above and if your like me and a fair distance from graeme france he is great for parts and advice aswell as keeping it in house.

Everyone has a different opinion on that one, just pick a half synth 10W40 from a A brand and it is fine.Honda_Star wrote:what is the best oil to use ?
I have used Castrol 5W40 full synth, Shell VSX 10W40 half synth and now Motul 10W40 half synth. All just fine.
