HAS ANYBODY EVER PLAYED AROUND WITH ADVANCING THE IGNITION ROTOR???

I CAN'T SEEM TO FIND ONE THAT YOU CAN BUY SO I'M MODIFYING MINE POSSIBLY AROUND 3DEG

I HAVE HAD GREAT SUCSESS WITH MY OTHER BIKES DOING THIS (EG R1's AND A CBR 900)

ANY SUGESTIONS.

(IT'S ON A RACE BIKE THAT HAS A FULL SYSTEM, HRC AIRBOX AND PUTS OUT 63HP.)

Try moving the pickup coil anticlockwise.

recently did this to a zxr400, only went 2 or 3 degree's, seems to have improved midrange response but it hasnt been tested back to back with a stock setup.
