Re: Das Nurburgring
I got my Ducati back - Woo Hoo.
After riding it back from oulton park (and having a dice with a mr howie mainwairing in a clio sport) it never missed a beat and sounds lush with its new 50mm system. So much power the clutch started to slip (could have been the 50psi in the rear tyre)
and it felt so good to ride once again.

Mark, there is no more monies to be paid. Truth be told, I £400 collected is still in my account as the guest house took the booking without a deposit which I insisted they take but they refused so if anyone would like to have the money transferred to them then I'll do so, or I'll get it changed to yo-yo's and someone can pay on the day.
PMSL @ nige, that sounds all too familiar.

Re: Das Nurburgring
200 miles in on the ducati since the rebuild and the motor is sweet, fueling is spot on and clutch slip has stopped.
What has become quite apparent are the fact the head stock bearings are goosed. hold a lovely line at speed on its side, but is a pig to change direction and anything less than 50mph needs mental effort to steer.
I think a strip of the headstock tommorow should reveal alot.
rode the CBR after - and i hate to say, after 2 years it growing on me.
thought you were coming anyway graham ?

Re: Das Nurburgring
i am mate just thought that what with new forum would confirm this lol, good to hear bout your duke paul i hope you do bring it, as we saw last year there was quite a red ducati influence so i'm sure a brit one would get some good respect.
I would leave the kwak at home too and bring my other bike but its a dr650 so a tad slow on the ring might be fun in the hills though lol
