NC30 Crash bungs

Post by matty_boy »

Ok i know you can get bungs that fit near the inspection panels, but can you get some to fit any where else on the bike ?

Oh and i am not on about the little crappy ones that fit to the fairing where the bolts go.

Yes mate thanks for the pics they are the bungs that i know you can get. But are there any other types that can be fitted near the swing arm ?

Also do the non drill type work better then the type that you need to drill the fairing, bearing in mind that these will be going on the bike with track fairing that can be cut ?

It is just that the non cut type are £50 cheaper then the others.

I'd say that the ones that mount ont he engine block directly are a liability - not worth the risk of snapping the mounts (even if they are unused)

non drill FTW as Mr VB says..

Not heard of any swingarm ones but am sure you can get something to mount into the hole in the centre of the wheel?

I had some non dril and sold them as I was not happy with them - even chopped my oe fairings for them too..but I was not happy. My new race bike had some bolted to the upper engine mounts and snapped them both off when it was crashed..
