General Thoughts?

Post by Iccle »

Nice looking Exhaust system... very well priced... called & spoke with the sellers, very pleasant & knowledgeable.

Example is an expired NC23 listing, but same for the NC29.
NC23 Stainless System

Pros
4-2-1 so no loss in midrange.
Removable silencer flange, so a 2" slip-on can be fitted easily.
2 Year Warrenty
Free, Next Working day delivery! ;)

Cons
They aren't GF Exhausts, so everyone will say they're crap... :D

Seriously though, anybody think there are any obvious issue with these pipes?

I think, from the brief conversation I had with the supplier, they are. By how much, I don't know... I'll try and find out.

Waiting you response... because if they're same weight what is the reason spend 200 GBP just for aesthetic view :)))

 They are marginally lighter than the OEM exhausts, however it seems that OEM aren't available to order from DSS or Honda (supposedly the RR-N & RR-R have different exhausts, RR-N are discontinued and RR-R are still available for £200+P&P).

Therefore, staying with a nice road use (not some track day specials) exhaust, with the Pros that are listed above, is the best option. £190 spent!! ;) Considering I NEED a new set of pipes, this isn't some "bling bling" purchase, I think it's great value.

time will tell....

Personally I wouls have had a punt offering my £190 to the guy in the for sale section selling the Ti Beet system.

But the Beet system is 4 - 1 so is obviously shit :poke:

Wrong - Beet systems have balance pipes on the down pipes and are a 4-2-1 via an internal splitter in the cone .... best of both worlds - thats why we build our race headers likewise !!
