Spare Motor
I have a 400 SF motor going spare. I bought it off Graeme France on here at the weekend thinking it was a CB-1 engine but it looks like it's an NC31. Apparantly in good running condition but no carbs or starter motor. Looking to get back the £50 paid. Can deliver within reason for cost of diesel @ 40mpg. Anyone?

Re: Spare Motor
Where are you? I still have much of a spare motor in my dad's shed, depending what you need. It has no electrics on it, but was apparently running before put away. It was put away without a left cover though, so not sure what's any good but the advance mechanism has a bit of rust on.
Yours for the want of taking it out my dad's shed in Portsmouth, got all sorts of other spares too that just want moving.

Hi Pete,
I'm at the top of the M11, if you can cover fuel, could meet halfway or thereabouts.

Fine by me, I can stick it in the lock-up and you can collect whenever. I'm in removals so might be nearer your neck of the woods at some time but work is very slow right now as nobody is moving house.
e-mail and Paypal addy is drewskovitch(at)hotmail.com
Cheers, Drew.

Re: Spare Motor
Here you go;-
engine number is NC23E-13973** (last 2 figures deleted)
Just one thing, the starter cover is a bit better than mine so I'd like to swap it over if that's ok? Make up for lugging it about etc
I can take the cam cover off and give it a quick inspection if you like.
Cheers, Drew.
