Why do you (think) you need all that ??? your not going to the moon.
Yeah bring enough to take the fairing off and a spare reg rec (snigger honda build quality) but leave the rest or you'll need new suspension for the return journey.

er think he's going in a van so bit of space for some of his stuff i suppose and if its calming to know you have back up then fairs fair.

I think bar a few essential tools for removing fairings/ chain adjustments the only thing i'll make sure i have is a can of tyre sealant just in case of a flat whilst there.

What time is everyone getting the train saturday morning i've only just been paid hence waiting until now to book it??

As Graham says Boris - I am in the van of warmth and comfort and so will bring that toolkit so you guys don't have to bring so much.

If I was coming on my bike I would be bringing sod all but me and a backpack. I do not travel heavy by any means!

So...is there anything anyone needs me to bring? ;)

Too excited now anywys..just about to stick my out of office on and divert my phone to my mobile and it's "sod off" answerphone message..BONUS

All this talk of bums and the likes is making me feel worse. I am feeling sorry for myself here with my stomach and bottom having a good old scrap and all I know is, I'm loosing :( Puking from about 3am this morning and so much still left to do. If worst comes to the worst I'll have to take the 400, but I can't see it getting to that. My new chain and sprockets arrived today so I'll be fitting them tonight. I'll get my clothes packed tonight too so all I'm left to do is get a new rear tyre fitted, tax the bike and fill the tank with fuel and go.

I had the same problem on Tuesday night but I'm fine now, I would've put it down to Rach's cooking but I did it that evening... I'd made a list of things I need to take but it wasn't until last night I'd realised that a passport might be handy! Very basic spares for me, spare levers and bulbs plus the OE tool kit, chain lube and puncture stuff and that's it.

I will be getting to Nige's on Friday mid afternoon and we'll be leaving early Saturday to get the 9am train. Graham my phone number is 07879 626923 if you want to give me a call to arrange somewhere to meet on Saturday morning you're more than welcome to.

I'm on the 400
The Bim had the oil drained ... and now the garage can't refill it.
It's not a simple matter (because nothing's simple on the Bim) of ndoing the oil filler cause you can't get to it, the frame's in the way. I've always filled it through the engine breather, but today no oil is going in there ... the theory is maybe condensation in the breather, (it has wire wool in it), has caused the oil to emulsify so the fresh oil can't pass.

Well you've got to laugh, huh ????

I have booked a hotel in folkestone for 4 of us for tommorow night. we have all afternoon and evening to meander on down there from the northwest.

Graham, will give you a call tonight mate if your about.

Boris, unlucky mate, but the 400 i am sure will perform admirably and you will be happy in heart to take it.

Guys as mentioned before, fuel in france and germany is more expensive than here, so fill up before the train so we can chew the first 100 odd miles easily. I know its 4 hours on motorway, however we have all day and i sugest after the first hundred miles or so we hit the lanes and go a more direct route weather permitting.

CBR is ready to go - i found the key for it at last, and the battery is on an optimate. it will be fine, but my heart still tells me to sod it, and take the ducati.

Take the Ducati!!

Boris - good arrows - the 400 will be cool..you know it. Anyways, the Bim is just to keep your stress levels high isn't it? It is not for riding.....

I am chillin in the sun..the moto is ready torock, just changed a rear bulb that has blown. The Mille is in the van, TC is actually at work so am collecting his tall ass from there and then off to sunny sunny Dover for a nightime ferry. WIll be taking my laptop so I can dl my ATC vids to it. I am not entirely confident that I won't overheat in slow moving traffic but I am sure that the old man will survive.

bring it on... :D

my mobile for when you crew arrive is 07817 463 941 - Me and TC are going to be on the ale from about 3 on Friday...we will have a cold one stashed for you guys (and ladies)
