Where can I get Exhaust Down Pipes for a GK71???????
Hi,
I recently bought a GSXR 400H. It's a 1987 Special edition in Black & Gold, the twin headlight model.
Does anybody know where I can get some new down pipes? Do any pipes from later models fit?
Problem is the down pipes and collector box has been cut off and dumped by the previous owner as they where rotten so there is nothing left to repair so think I may be better off just replacing them.
I can't find any off the shelf genuine or aftermarket system's for sale though and I've been getting quotes of £300 to £400 for a bespoke system to be made up which I can't really afford and is probably going to cost more than the bikes worth.
Are there any options that anyone knows of ?????

Hi Mark,
Now im not 100% on this but i think the early model gsxr's engines had more in common with the gsx400f, im sure they got a different bore/stroke than later.I had an exhaust that i tried to fit to a Bandit 4 and it did'nt fit as the exhaust ports exits were closer together anyway these may fit but you will have to do so of your own investigating.
