Re: Finally due to demand....My Race Bike Build Thread
Here we go some pics of the bike back together and re sprayed, and in my honest opinion i think it looks preety dam good. And best of all it only cost £13.46 in total!!!
Sadly though ive been offered an R1 at a price i cant refuse, so already its time to say goodbye to the little beast
Ill be sad to see it go but ive always wanted an 04 r1 and now ive the chance to get it :D
so heres some pics and should anyone fancy giving me £2000 for it then your more than welcome

Its a cracking bike bike but my passion has switched fire now so it has to go
The spares package and spec is quiet comprehensive but ill try and put down what i know
rough spec off the top of my head:
HRC cold air tray
HRC ecu
Diamond rear set's
17" delvic rear wheel
braided hoses
ses clipons
custom rev counter with neutral and oil warning LED's
Fresh respray (not pro but it is a race bike after all :D )
rs250 seat unit, not very tidy but still good enough
new battery and plugs
front and rear paddock stands
gp tyre warmers
Battery optimiser (its running total loss)
Technoflex rear shock
upgraded front fork springs and oil
Spares package
2 x engines (both stripped to varying degrees)
WOW's with good disks
spare frame and swing arm
2x spare subframes
spare rear race seat unit
nc30 seat and pillion seat
nc35 seat
spare brake bads front and rear
a complete set of Diamond race rear sets (£200)
2x rear shocks, one late type, one new with remote
spare rear hugger/undertray
spare race db screen
2x airbox's
oil and air filters
clutch and brake lever's
Haynes manual
plus a box full of road gear should you feel the erge :D
probably missed something but ill add as i remember
Cheers
Damien

If it really is a HRC cdi that is worth a quarter of the total asking price of the bike, open the box!!!! £10 says it's HRC delimiter....

give your self a tenner mate, its a delimiter lol well i got proper lied ot there dint a ??tanuki wrote:If it really is a HRC cdi that is worth a quarter of the total asking price of the bike, open the box!!!! £10 says it's HRC delimiter....
never mind im gonna keep the thing now anyway. Im not gonna sell the thing for next to nowt when its worth more than that to me and its still a proper weapon.
So i went on an ebay buy-a-thon today and came away with a hrc brake res and a cbr600rr tail unit lol not alot but the bike doesnt need much to be honest and anything i do now will just be improving on the decent kit ive already got.
Anybody got any ideas on what i should do next?
Im gonna re route the rear brake hose next week (id do it now but im snowed it because of my toss rear wheel drive car

Also while at the mcn bike show this weekend i spoke to padgetts honda and they reckon they might have a few ideas, so off to batley when i get the chance for some TT inspired modifications :D
cheers for reading
Damien

Yeah everyone wants something for nowt including me. What about your fees for ebay? Listing fee will have been £9 and then final value fees of 1%(?) might be £17.
Don't suppose your mate is interested in my ZX6 is he?

yeah lol nearly 17 quid to list....robbers. Ill ask him mate tbh i forgot all about it. as for fitting that seat unit lol that bloody subframe wouldnt fit for the life of trying
i think it must have twisted in storage or something because i couldnt get it to line up lol. The seat looks decent though after taking the dremel to it and that fuel filler looks proper GP :D

Re: Finally due to demand....My Race Bike Build Thread
Yeah I'd be grateful. Sorry about the seat unit, I had it on a bike of mine at some point, but filler does look nice and flash. Isn't it about time yougot a proper job?
