Fork swap??

Post by Landy63 »

Im thinking about swapping the forks on my Race bike (nc30) for something abit different, just wondering if anyone else has done something other than the the zxr400 fork swap as ive done this before and really wanna push the boundries more this time.

Has anyone got the spec for the front forks> diameter? length? just so i can narrow my search for a new front end down?

Cheers

Ducati? 748 through to 999 is easily done.
Need any used Nc30 parts? Want to fit a Ducati front end to your Nc30? If so give me a shout.

no riley sells a kit that allows the ducati forks to be fitted, only fits on nc30's tho but iv seen them on smev's bike and they look amazing! very jelous

got to be the best front end to put on your bike, have also seen G-force in america fit cbr600 front ends to their bikes, so they can have the radial brakes

No, I supply the Ducati fitting kits, they come in at £85 delivered (at the current exchange rate - I have to buy the parts from abroad as the parts in this country are ridiculous).

As far as racing goes mate, you'd be better keeping the originals and up grading. Any other forks will be heavier and won't necessarily handle any better.

Have a word with Graeme France.
How hard can it be?

Fair one Mick, The forks will be for my wet bike because im missing a set so fancied something different. My No1 bike has uprated springs and oil so i wont be messing with them just yet :D
