OK well thanks to Everyone for the replies. I wimped out and ended up wiring a small toggle switch instead of wiring into the kill switch. I mounted the toggle where my speedo used to mount. I looked carefully at the job but lacked confidence (especially since the season is upon me)( first track day in a coupkle of weeks), and did not want to hack up the wiring loom. I ended up implementing something that can easily be reversed and has a pretty small weight penalty. Overall I am pretty happy with how it came out and perhaps at the end of the season I wil reconsider.

Jeff, i did the same thing on my VFR. I put it down on the left side right where the wiring connectors are. Works fine and is still on there today!
Hey, know anyone who wants a Blue Fox (HRC satelite team) race loom for a NC30?
