i have a cbr400rr nc23 needs a bit of work im thinking of selling it but dont want to lose out to much
i had a little of which scratched the fairing,broke the screen,broke the mirror,gear lever, and rear indicator
i have fixed the screen, gear lever and put an indicator i had of another bike to get it back on the road the bike was mint before i come of it has all the origanal fairings on as done just over 21000 km a a guess but knows its around that mark 2 studs have snapped for the exhaust headers i used gum gum to get it on the road as it was my only form of transport it also needs 1 fork seal doin (but better to do the pair) a starter motor relay about £12 on gramae france the engine runs mint and will start first time if you bypass the sarter relay.if i can make some of the money it owes me i will sell the bike if not i think it will be a streetfighter project

i have one similar in repsol colours.

mine has cosmetic damage to the left and right hand side fairings.there is no damage to casings or that.

i would say in and around the £500 mark.

what are you hoping to get?

im in Lowestoft, Suffolk lol.. am hoping to get my bike on the road on monday if all goes well *no guarantees mind* have been off the road since september when the 125 ran out of mot

i suppose i could get it sprayed but i lost interest really when i got knocked of as i had only had it about 3 hours and it was mint no scratches at all that was the reason i bought it . im thinking of streetfightering it as i would rather have streetfightered bikes if i could get £650 for it i would sell it but it doesnt look like i could thanks for all the info guys not sure if the fairings will be ov use to anyone but i might put them in the for sale section during next month someone else might be able to get them repaired as they aint that bad and there origanal panels. im from widnes if u know anyone for the panels really cheap

the idea i had was to put a cbr600rr backend on it from the 03 model with underseat exhaust and for now a streetfighter style front light and some straight bars keep it like that for a while as my last bike was a cbr600 streetfighter. i would rather have the sit up posistion when riding then maybe put the cbr600 rr fairing from the same model on to make it fully faired then sell it on to get a bigger bike. when i got the bike i got it of a mate who paid £1500 for it last march he had only ridden it home as he needed to do his test he need some quick cash so i part exed him a vfr400 nc21 and £500 which was a bargain as the vfr was tatty when i crashed i pulled of from some traffic lights and was doin about 30 the guy seen me as i was goin towards him he just pulled out on me i was well gutted watching it spin down the road the guy just drove of never bothered to c if i was ok thye bike owes me around £800 and i dont really want to put much money into it for now but that might change when i start to fix it up as i think thats what i am gonna do now
