quick question-

gonna change the oil and filter on my NC30 over the weekend, how much oil does she take from practically dry?
i know the dipstick is there, but id just like a rough estimate if possible...

mine took 2.5 litres with a filter change but if yours is try already you may wana try a bit more

Shall note this for my personal reference too.

Oil changes would be so much faster if I knew how much I needed roughly :mrgreen:

the manual states....2.5 litres for oil and filter change and 3 litres after a engine overhaul,dry engine.

you would be surprised by the amount of oil that is left in your engine,so i would recommend adding 1.5 litres before checking and so on.

also a tip is...after you start the engine up when the oil level is satisfactory,the level wil drop as it circulates in and throught the oil filter,so check the level again after you run the bike for a few minutes.
