cleaning bearings
im about to start slowly putting my little viffer back together and i need to clean the headrace bearings. they were replaced prior to me buying it and because the bike hasnt been ridden for ages they are in perfect condition although the grease has gone a bit rank. does anyone have any ideas for cleaning them without ruining them?

Re: cleaning bearings
Petrol or kerosene ( i think you guys call it paraffin) in a small dish and a paintbrush will have them clean in no time.

yip parrafin is what it gets called commonly over here. you can go into any average garden center or DIY store and they have it in the UK.
