Re: DM's Bikes
Looking good DM, I guess you flogged the road RVF then?
My mate TC has a pair of KTM Adventures - a 640 and a 950. He needs a Duke for his trackday addiction...I am looking forwards to him getting one as I want a go..lol

Re: DM's Bikes
Yeah the road RVF is now gone
it went to a good home tho.
Dont worry im not giving up on NC's, i still have the track RVF which will soon be wearing some standard shape RVF panels and a daylight mot. Not decided on a colour scheme yet but will definatly be traditional honda.
The KTM came about by a bit of a accident, the misses wanted to take out a new zx6r and wouldnt go out alone so the sales rep said take another demo and go with her, headed straight for the superduke and off we went. Ive always liked to have one but didnt want to sell the sportsbike for a naked, how wrong was i !! Anyways convinced the misses to have my GSXR instead (didnt take much convincing by the way) and i spent the money on a ex race superduke. I can hardly touch the floor on it but i love it, sooooooo much fun cant wait to trackday it

Re: DM's Bikes
Well i didnt really want to let it go but the urge to get a ducati has finally got hold of me and the KTM is on its way out.
I take delivery of this in couple of weeks,

Yes its only a 748 and it maybe the runt of the litter (Please be kind mr CRM
) but i took a real liking to it + its got as 853 big bore kit :D
Also brought this on ebay whilst drunk, never a good idea

It looks better in the pic than in the flesh, plan is a 350 YPVS mamola rep

Re: DM's Bikes
yeh there alright, do prefer the later mito's tho, if im not mistaken thats got the same fairing as an early derbi gpr 50 (very early), i was thinking about getting one when i was 16 but got a tzr 50 instead,
saw a mito on ebay in foggy petronas colours with a 600 engine in (think it was er6 tho) but on incurance it was down as a mito 125 with a modifed engine, they never asked what mos had been done lol, bit risky if you crash tho lol
u no wen ur done you will have to wack some L plates on it and go big-bike-baiting on track days lol
