Fuel tap vaccum pipe
Hi All,
I've had my NC30 stood for the last 4 months due to other things happening. Anyway I've had problems trying to get it to start... to cut a long story short the fuel tap vaccum pipe has come off so its not opening the diaphram. I must have knocked it off removing the fairings.
As its dark and cold ive left it in bits for now, could someone tell me where the pipe goes to? So i can hunt for it.
Also is there only the one vaccum pipe?, whats the other "union" for?

Yep - outside one is the vacuum and the middle one is a drain for the casing I would guess?

You could always do the modification to the fuel tap that does away with the vacuum pipe, it's pretty simple to do. There used to be instructions on here so if you have a search I'm sure you'll find how to do it, if you cab't find the info let me know and I'll scan and email the instructions to you.

Viper, did you rotate your fuel tap cover so the vacuum line points forward instead of down? Mine points down as in britax's post. I am sure there is no functional difference.

Yup, I did exactly that. Makes no difference what way it faces, as long as it's not blocked it'll work fine.RVFHooligan wrote:Viper, did you rotate your fuel tap cover so the vacuum line points forward instead of down? Hi Terry
Cut and paste link (don't know how to put a straight link on here yet, must learn) below. it tells you all you need to know and the benefits.
http://www.akhara.com/nc30/fueltapmod/index.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
It's pretty straight forward to do, even I managed without parental supervision.
